Weekly Capture XXIV

B's favorite part of meals - spitting regurgitated
food into Mama's water glass

What a week! Hot (again), car in the shop (again), grumpy + teething baby (again)... celebrated 4 years of marriage to D yesterday, and heading to a wedding of one of my cousin's this weekend as well as a detour to see one of my favourite-est people in the whole world (and her little ones and her husband as well). Super excited for all that the plans entail - cannot wait to see my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, cousin's spouses, cousin's kiddos, and so forth! It's been far too long.

Out of the mouth of Dom
"Mama, can I have a little snack before breakfast?" [making a cute face with a little smirk and rolling his eyes to the side- sorry, this might be a weird description if you don't see him often]
"What were you thinking?"
"Goldfish. You know - the crackers that crack open."

Me: "Are you going to make a huge mess?"
Dom: "Um, no. I'm going to make a tiny mess."

As I pulled a shirt over his head, "Dom, your head is huge!"
"I know. It's from eating all those muffins."

Blaise-eroo Updates
Annnnnd he's sitting of his own accord. Finally, I can set the boy down and not have to catch him as he pushes himself into a standing position, shooting off like a rockstar. I think part of this has come about due to the realization that with sitting comes the privileges of getting into older brother's toys. Thankfully, Dom is being a sharing trooper. Thus far.

Reading
We're going through a few more ABC books - check out many we've found and loved from this past week's post. Another favorite for the boy has been:

Wink: The Ninja Who Wanted to Nap, a follow up to Wink: The Ninja Who Wanted to be Noticed, is a fun tale of a Ninja who only want to rest but is having a hard time escaping from his fans.
I have finally begun the final book of the Kristin Lavransdatter trilogy, The Cross, and am enjoying it just as much as the first two.

Heyo! Welcome to Two Os Plus More! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note. I *do* read and appreciate each and every comment, but sometimes due to, you know, life and stuff, it does take me a bit to reply. Cheers!
