Weekly Capture XXV

A short update for the week. After last week's craziness (see this post for more on that), I then ended up in bed for most of Saturday, dizzy and achey. This was followed by a sick, sick Blaise puking on me twice in the past 24 hours due to his coughing. I even called the pediatrician it got so bad (those that know me well know the doctor tends to be my last resort). We're packing to leave for the funeral at this point, so here's what you get from me for a late capture of a crazy week.

Out of the mouth of Dom
"After breakfast I will have some fruit. And then maybe some chocolate."

"My brain hurts, mama."

"'We'll see' means yes, just later."

Blaise-eroo Updates
Getting sick for the first time has put this little guy into a cuddley, "I-want-to-be-in-the-baby-carrier-as-much-as-possible" mood. The baba is taking is sweet time with teething- poor guy still has swollen gums but no teeth.

Reading
Finished up Sigrid Undset's Kristin Lavransdatter - The Cross. Here's the post, 10 Books You Must Read to Your Daughter (or How to Keep Your Daughter from Ending Up Like That Horrid Girl in Twilight), that inspired me to read it, so I suggest reading that for a review if you're interested in why you should also read it. Sorry, my brain hurts too much to share my own review.

    1. Your posts are always super relevant to what I'm pondering/considering. We must be some sort of kindred spirit!
And, yes, loved Kristin Lavransdatter so much! I kind of want to start reading it again as I know there was more I probably missed the first go round.

Heyo! Welcome to Two Os Plus More! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note. I *do* read and appreciate each and every comment, but sometimes due to, you know, life and stuff, it does take me a bit to reply. Cheers!
