WIWS {Vol. 1} The Debut of my Eccentric Style Revealed Unto the Interwebs

First off, this is my debut post linking up with Fine Linen + Purple for their weekly link-up 'What I Wore Sunday.' In case you were wondering what WIWS stands for, that's it. Beware of Googling just the acronym. Further proof that Google does not have all the answers. I did that. Annnnd I got:
Whidbey Island Waldorf School as the first search result along with this creepy statue picture:

(Sorry to any readers from Whidbey Island... that's just plain odd).

Anyhoo, I decided after a long time to join in on the WIWS festivities partially because I love a good link-up as much as the next blogger and mostly because Sunday is the one day my outfit actually gets some thought. *Some* being the operative word. Today's fanciness was thought up while I showered, another rarity in my morning routine. I do shower, I promise, just not often in the mornings.

We got up a little late today and still managed to get to 9 am mass. These pictures are totally post-mass, so I did have lipstick on before and my hair was a little prettier. Enjoy all the same.

Outfit details:

Dress: Theory, Consigned
Top: Free People, Consigned
Leggings: Old Navy
Shoes: Steve Madden
Necklace: Antique Theotokos bought when I was newly married by my husband
Earrings: Made from late 1800s buttons, a gift from my Nana

  3. You're a fun chick. I can tell.

And I so know how the lipstick story goes. I, more times than not, will put on a swipe of bright lipstick and before we even make it to our destination, I wipe it off- knowing it won't survive anyway.

    1. Thanks!

I love retro red lipstick but whenever I wear it my 20 month old always finds a way to get it smeared everywhere thus making it totally not worth the fun feeling I had for 10 seconds wearing it. =)
