Lenten Meal Plan Link-Up

Once upon a time I was going to write 7 posts in 7 days. I decided to write each day rather than write all in advance, and then we started getting sick. And I spent all day Saturday away at the Rochester Catholic Women's Conference. It was awesome and definitely worth it and I got to hear some fabulous speakers and attend mass AND adoration childless - well outside the womb childless. But, yeah, those sickies got us.

Yesterday found David and I taking turns going to mass whilst the other comforted a coughing, feverish boy and his older brother who insisted he, too, was just as sick. {Insert fake cough}. This has also meant TWO nights of barely any consistent sleep for this mama. By today, the cold/flu/thing had me down as well, so I have spent most of the day attempting some extra rest.

And I failed at getting you those last two posts. Sorry.

BUT I do have something fun to share with you (also later than I was hoping!). Beth Anne of Beth Anne's Best, Abbey from Surviving Our Blessings, and I are going to be co-hosting a Lenten Meal Plan link-up every week during the Season of Lent. Pretty much meaning, we are supplying the awesomeness that is Veggie-riffic meals for your Friday (and any other fasting days) meals!

Every Monday on each of our blogs, you can find a new post specifically highlighting Meatless meals AND a link-up code where you can share your own recipes! I'm so excited to hear some new ideas for what you're eating on Fridays this Lent.

Our family is a little more extreme than most in the fact that we go ALL of Lent with no meat, not just Fridays. I'm hoping to share one of our favorite recipes with you new each week, but with all the sickness and whatnot plaguing the O House at present, you're going to have to make do with one of my most popular posts evah:

Also, check out our collaborative Pinterest board for even more ideas to get your meal planning on:

BethAnne has hosted this link up in past years, but if this is YOUR first time joining, the Guidelines are as follows:

  3. Feel free to embed Pinterest Recipes or link to recipes you have found online.
  4. Feel free to just blog about what you ate or what you are planning on eating.
  5. Have fun and have a BLESSED LENT!

Link up your Lenten meals here, and share with others, so we can all benefit from each other's Vegetarian wisdom! Happy Cooking!
